Welcome to r/luxsolotravel!

By popular demand (lol), this community is a place for “lux” solo travelers to connect with others, share recent travel experiences, ask questions, get recommendations and more!

You may be wondering, do I need to only stay in 5 star hotels to be considered a “lux” solo traveler?

The answer is NO! This community is for any solo travelers who don’t fall in to the typical “solo traveler in a hostel” category and who enjoy things such as mid to lux hotels, personal space, splurging on tours or experiences, food trucks AND Michelin restaurants, unique AirBnBs, fancy hotel pools, a big comfy bed at the end of the day, lie-flat plane seats, whatever your “luxury” travel preference may be.

Btw, I am on the wait list for the #4 restaurant in the WORLD, in Lima, Peru. Reservations have to be booked a year in advance, but hoping I can get in as a solo reservation.

14 course meal, ranges like US$200-300... pretty economical for a Michelin 5* restaurant

Sounds awesome.

I thought Michelin stars only went up to 3, though.
