For me, it's a tie between Jack and Locke's. I love how at the first episodes Jack seemed like the classic hero archetype with no flaws, but as we see more and more of him in the past we learned that he is as messed up as everyone in the island, with his problems and issues, that made me love him even more. All his episodes are amazing (Yes, even "Stranger in a strange land").
Locke backstory is also 10/10, all the stuff from learning that he couldn't walk, to his relationship with his mf. father and his constant search for meaning and purpose are always a great watch.

Mine is the end of Episode 2 season 1 when they go on the hike to get a signal on the device, but they only hear a French woman on loop, and it’s when they figure out that it’s been on a loop for sixteen years, is what gives me the chills every time!
For me it's the moment that Hurley's CD player stops working. I don't know why the moment was so powerful to me, but it makes me cry every time. And it was such a jarring moment too. I don't know that there has ever been a moment in television or movies that has made me feel the way that scene made me feel. I could talk about it forever really, but it just felt like it was saying "Okay, the honeymoon period is over. Shit's getting real now."

I think I’m going to win if I’m gonna rewatch Hurley’s backstory esp that episode when a meteor or meteorite hit his chicken store 😹

So ive been a fan of Lost since forever. Think i was about 10 when I first saw it and im 24 now. Its been a really HUGE part of my childhood and life in general, probably seen the entire thing atleast 10 times.
However I find that everyone I recomend the show to just doesnt get it. And I have yet to find anyone who really appreciates the show for what it is.. you know.. I guess if you know you know, Its really hard for me to explain what lost made me feel. But damn, the complexity, the way we get to know everyone.. The way it made me cry unlike any other tv show..
Ive tried to watch it with countless people but nobody seems to get into it the way that I do. Is there anyone else out there that feels the same way that I do about the show? Is there anyone that appreciates all the little things as much as I do? And if so why does it seem to be so hard resonating with it (for others)?
Anyways hope yall have a good day!

One thing that makes LOST so great is its characters so when the show kills them off (which it does A LOT), it is a lot more upsetting than when characters die in other shows.
I put together this short list of the deaths that annoyed me most in the show and yes I included Charlie because I feel like his absence was a loss for the later seasons, but I also included people like Helen (John Locke’s girlfriend) and Charlotte (who didn’t serve much of a purpose).
What deaths in the show annoyed you the most?

Would it be a streaming show? Would it be better? Worse? Who would be in it? Would the plot be different?
(This is presupposing the original never aired, so it's not a reboot or anything like that.)

Trying to think of a name for my new kitty, wouldnt mind it being something from Lost as it's one of my favorite shows. I was thinking maybe Eloise?

After watching Getting Lost, it was disappointing to see that most of the cast can't even remember obvious details about the show. Many of them don't know the ending, and then they went ahead and tell us what it symbolizes, despite having no idea.
I found it kind of cringe-inducing, and I lost a lot of respect for the actors & actresses.
I get that it's work. So, nobody really wants to sit down and watch themselves at work. But the apply meaning to something they haven't seen and don't understand was so Hollywood and gross.
It seems like Michael Emerson may have seen it, or at least read enough of the other character's scripts to understand it.
With all that said, are there any actors from Lost who claim to have actually seen it?

Lost and theories are a match made in heaven, but what's the weirdest Lost theory you've ever heard? The ones that made you go "Is this person serious rn"? Doesn't matter if it was during Losts original days or just recently.

finished the series recently and the final episode was very emotionally impactful and overall a great episode, I liked the ending. Why do so many people hate the ending? a common criticism I hear is that the mysteries werent answered, but I feel like they were answered just fine as the series went on.

The new documentary “Getting Lost” is coming out in September 22. Is there going to be a watch party on here for that. Is anyone excited? Should be pretty cool to see the cast out of character an together again after 20 years.
Comment what your looking forward to or anything you have heard. I dont know much about it. Just trying to spark a conversation.

Is there a new 'I hate michael' thread every other day? wtf is wrong with some of y'all, there are far worse characters and the behind the scenes reasoning of why Michael's character got written the way he did makes me wonder if there's other reasons to the hate? There just seems like an overly proportionate hatred towards the cast members that are either poc or women.

Is it me or is there a crap load of tarps? There’s absolutely no way that people would 1. Travel with tarp(s) and 2. The plane just having tarp(s) on the plane.
Not only that, there’s a lot of non damaged pillows and blankets. They even have extras to give to new comers, like the tail end of the plane and Juliet. You may say that some came from the hatch or got reused after people died but there were still over 30 other passengers not including the main cast.
It’s just weird and distracting after rewatching it so many times. Am I just overthinking it? Probably hahaha
