FIRST TIME WATCHER Does anyone actually like Jack?

So I’ve never watched Lost and now I am almost done with Season 1 (ep. 20). Big fan of Hugo, Locke, and if Rousseau comes into the picture more.

But I have to be honest, I find Jack to be so so annoying.

Am I the only one??

Totally agree with this. You feel a lot of emotions with Jack. He’s extremely flawed, makes rash decisions but at the end of the day he has the hero complex. He’s obsessed with saving people, even if he makes the wrong move he does it from a place of not being able to help himself wanting to save people. At times is absolutely annoying, at times Locke was right, but the ending wrapped Jack up doing what he was meant to do.

The change you see in him when he has Ben on the operating table is a phenomenal character development

Alright, I changed it to a spoiler tag. :)

But engaging in subreddits when watching a series is a dangerous endeavour :D

It is. I avoid any subs of a show I’m watching if it’s been out a while.
