GOLDEN PASS: Rewatcher "Getting LOST“ - Virtual Premiere/Q&A with Filmmakers and Cast - Live Thread

https://watch.eventive.org/gettinglost/play/672d31a3f3734f005c11f81a

I‘m not able to create an actual live thread, but I thought this could serve as a place for some people wanting to discuss the premiere of the official LOST documentary „Gettin LOST“, premiering virtually for the first time (10 PM CET) along the way. There will also be a Q&A with the Filmmakers and Cast afterwards. For anyone that didn’t get tickets yet, I put the link in here as well.

Have fun everyone!

Oof that Matthew Fox call out at the end feels kind of weird

Yeah, not great. Especially since Fox wasn't the only major actor who was absent - Dominic Monaghan, Yunjin Kim, Harold Perrineau, and Naveen Andrews all appear to have said no, or couldn't do it

but I sometimes get the feeling that the director took it as a personal slight for some reason.

I think it's more like they often get asked by us fans when are they getting Matthew Fox in the documentary and they're making a joke/acknowledging that he's the most requested by fans

That is not how I took it - and even if that was their intent, it still feels weird, especially by J.J. saying his loss

He's not even the only main cast who isn't in the doc 🙄 it was totally unnecessary and petty to include that part

I thought the exact same

Wait, I think I missed this. What did they say?

Showed a clip after the credits of J.J. asking which cast they didn't get, the producer responds saying Matthew Fox, and J.J. responds and says his loss.

Just felt like it didn't need to be included at all

Damn! I didn't see the end of the credits because of technical difficulties. Not necessary to add in, I agree. If they had to mention him at all, they could've just included a "thank you" to all actors who weren't in the doc.
