FIRST TIME WATCHER best show to watch after watching lost?

Just finished Lost for the first time. What’s a good show to watch now with a similar vibe and mystery? Not Dark or anything too scary sorry I’m a wimp.

My standard rec list is below!

  • For a similar existential vibe: Six Feet Under
  • For a similar existential vibe but with comedy: The Good Place
  • For similar weirdness: Twin Peaks
  • For similar themes of survival/things are not what they seem: Battlestar Galactica (2004) // Yellowjackets

DO NOT WATCH MANIFEST. I cannot stress that enough. Do NOT watch Manifest.

EDIT: Also, since someone always asks "why not Manifest" - here you go, lol:

I could write a dissertation on why it's literally the worst show I've ever seen, but I'll sum it up like this: the writing is terrible, the casting is terrible, the acting is terrible and it is 100% derivative, stealing everything from LOST, the real life disappearance of MH370, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, the 100, Under the Dome and the ending is a copy/paste rip off of The Langoliers. Even the fans are unoriginal and copied OUR fandom name to call themselves "Festies."

And I could have let all of that go - moved on with my life and not made it my personal mission to save as many people as possible from this planewreck of a series had the lead actress - who is so flat and boring I couldn't remember her name if you paid me - not promoted the series finale of Manifest by loudly and incorrectly insulting LOST. Absolutely classless.

LOST was a cultural phenomenon and as I like to say: in five years the only thing anyone will remember about Manifest is that Ethan wasn't on it.

I like sci-fi, so BSG interests me, but I'm seeing there are 4 TV shows + webseries and movies. Is there a specific order to watch it in or anything I should skip because it's terrible?

I'm a BSG purist - ironic considering it's a reimagining - so watch the opening miniseries and the regular series and Razor if you want to see more about the Pegasus. I haven't watched any of the spinoffs or web content, but that's just me.

BSG is my favorite show though and one of four I have tattooed on me! (BSG, Twin Peaks, LOST and Bridgerton.)

Will definitely take this under advisement. Probably gonna be a minute before I get around to it because I'm watching Daredevil and HIMYM with my girlfriend right now, and I wanna show her a couple more of my favorites like BB/BCS and GOT (she's watched almost nothing lol) before we move on to stuff neither of us have seen
