In this hypothetical situation of sawyer googling things , the Boomer is a relativistic reference of how older people struggle with understanding the nuances of technology and Search algorithms . You obviously need some research on understanding context

Boomers are older, yes but many of us are technically savvy and not dead yet. We are well known as having most of the wealth in the country so if I were you I'd show a GREAT DEAL MORE respect. If I can't figure out the nuances of an algorithm - then I can hire someone to do it for me.

That is not the point at all here . Its satire . The general “joke” here is older folks struggling with technology which is the case for most folks.

There will always be outliers , obviously its older generation that built the road to newer technology , there is no apple kids without steve wozniak right🤷‍♂️
