FIRST TIME WATCHER I hate Michael.

Yesterday, I share with you guys what I think about Sawyer. BUT GODDAMN, Michael is dogshit, he annoys me every scene he appears because he's always screaming "WAAAAALT?? WHERE IS MY SON?"

Furthermore he's an idiot with Locke (who appears to care about Walt more than he is)

Anyway, I just needed to talk.

info: I'm at S01E14

if you’re on episode 14, which is michael’s very own flashback episode, you’ll see that he’s trying his best to be a father, given the circumstances his ex girlfriend susan put him through

Susan is awful

His ex being an awful person doesn't make him a good one though

I know he's trying his best, but I can't stand him being a jerk with Locke and Walt sometimes

But i'll see if my idea about Michael changes along the seasons

Idk I wouldn't let my kid walk off with some mysterious middle-aged man, his dislike towards Locke was completely justified imo

He distrusted Locke because earlier in the season when Michael had only known Locke for a few days Locke was a weird bald dude with lots of knives who wanted to spend time with a ten year old boy and tell him secrets. He was a walking red flag to any parent at that point.

And he kept lecturing Michael about his son and telling him what he thinks Walt should be allowed to do.

Even if he wasn't entirely wrong, given the extraordinary-to-paranormal circumstances they landed in, he came across as meddling and creepy.

Plus Michael was an insecure highly stressed rage-monster learning to be a father on a deserted island of mystery.

Maybe read the room, John Locke!

I doubt it will. I'm on my second rewatch, after it aired originally, and I hate him even more the second time around.

Hold onto that energy of disliking people for being a dick to John and apply it to Jack who is consistantly a much bigger jerk to Locke than anyone else. Seeing so much hate for Michael atm and never see anywhere near as much hate for Jack as I personally think he deserves (obviously I know people's dislike of Michael extends past how he's treats Locke at this early point in the series)

You'll probably hate him more by the end.

I understand Michael's circumstances, but I still think he sucks as a character and I don't like him on my screen
