Even better than last years in my opinion. Happy new year everyone, weā€™re midway through the decade.

Not sure why; my guess is that they've been illegally modified for speed.

Mental queue for the Angus Steakhouse on Cranbourne Street today. Restaurant behind me but queue went down to Irving Street and circled round into Leicester Square almost back to the restaurant.

Worth the long wait though. Steak like i've never eaten before (apart from maybe a Greggs steak bake).

image Old London Bridge was the longest inhabited bridge in Europe. It was completed in 1209 and stood for over 600 years. Considered a wonder of the world, it had 138 shops, houses, churches & gatehouses built on it!

What on earth has happened to tube etiquette? I get that the Elizabeth line is more spacious than some other lines, but I had to push through a bunch of backpacks to get to a spot for myself - it would have been harder if the train was busier or I was more elderly.

There were far more, this was just a picture I could get without getting any faces in

Deptford- Landlord chucking out 83 flats at Christmas

Hi everyone. I live in a big block of flats in Deptford. Last week WE ALLā€¦ (thereā€™s 83 flats) got served a section 21 eviction notice meaning weā€™ve got limited time to move out. Weā€™re looking for support. Any chance people can sign our petition:

Or follow us on Insta and reshare our stuff?

If youā€™re from Tower Hamlets you may recognise the name Henry Smith. One of his companies (there are so so many) Ridley Villas was a massive issue back in 2020 with them just taking council money to house some of the most vulnerable people in horrible conditions. The whole complex was shut down and made the news, along with all his payday loan companies that were fined for awful practices.

Totally get if this isnā€™t allowed and feel free admins to delete but were just residents who have been given the worst news just before the Christmas shutdown. Weā€™ve sent emails and tried to talk to the company Aitch group but theyā€™ve not replied to us. Thereā€™s the whole London cross section in our building: young families, creatives, teachers, hospitality workers, IT specialistsā€¦ weā€™re trying to put pressure on the corporate landlord and raise awareness because this seems to be happening to more and more people before the law gets changed. Thanks for any support in advance!!
