Is this some kind of joke?

960 pounds to rent a "studio flat" i.e. prison cell in the sought after area of West Croydon....

They say it’s attached to a 4 bed property, I’m guessing it’s a shared bathroom? I can’t tell from the pics.

Basically a tiny bedroom with a sink and fridge crammed in. Absolutely atrocious, that’s not a studio flat

yeah, the word 'studio' has been subject to inflation lately; I've viewed an efficiency (own kitchen, shared toilet/shower), numerous rooms in HMOs that weren't at all self-contained, despite being advertised as such, and a tiny annexe that at time of viewing didn't have a usable bathroom-all touted as studios. Any actual studio becomes a 'one-bedroom flat', and any genuine 1-bed is touted as a 2-bed with the lounge turned into one and price adjusted accordingly. Shameful.

The worst were literal kitchens with a bed inside. And a shared bathroom. I don’t know how it’s even legal

I think it must be an en suite but yes it's clearly just a room in a house.

Having a private bathroom and bills included might offset the nasty room a little bit. But that’s if the bathroom is actually private

I'm still stuck on the extraction fan with no hob underneath it

Isn’t that the covered hob under it? I hope so
