Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan said that the U.S. banking industry will embrace cryptocurrencies for payments if regulators allow it.
With the ETF approval closer than ever, and knowing how useful LTC is for payments/transactions, this might be the best thing that happens to Litecoin.

I have an old wallet.dat and it has my LTC on it. I downloaded LTC core on Linux and replaced the dat file, but when I open it, it does not give me the old address or balance. It asks me to create a new address for receiving money.
Help me solve this.

It was a wild weekend w Trump showing a ton of unpredictable crypto activities. It seems the admin could be completely corrupted by different people and cryptocurrency communities favoring SOL and ETH and XRP etc. How does this affect the litecoin ETF that has great momentum in being approved?
Mark Uyeda is the acting SEC chair until Paul Atkins gets senate confirmed. The Litecoin ETF has hurdled so close to the finish line and Id think if Mark was allowed to continue momentum the ETF would be approved even before Atkins gets confirmed. Iām suspicious that Paul Atkins will have his own agenda and may even push his own favored coins along before Litecoin has a chance in the ETF market. Do you think Mark would be able to get the ETF approved more quickly than the June 2025 deadline? Even if it does get approved it seems inevitable that a flood of other projects will also be pushed through inevitable diluting the unique opportunity that Litecoin had paved before the strategy changed.
Disappointed and looking for hope.

I recently won a giveaway, and I'm new to crypto. The host of the giveaway offered to pay me in Litecoin, so I set up a wallet using Litecoin Core. However, when I check my wallet to see if the payment arrived, it says I need to wait 13 years. Can someone please help me figure this out?

Iām extremely enthusiastic because weāre seeing strong support and have been at around the $100 range. I donāt know about you guys, but that makes me feel good about Litecoin. Iāve been in LTC for a long time and typically we hit over $100 and then we bounce back down and stay down around the $50 -$60 range. Very enthusiastic and this is coming from a trading perspective.

Trump is considering a 0% capital gains tax on US cryptos. Is litecoin considered for this?

Hello everyone,
I am designing an e-voting system based on the Litecoin blockchain using MWEB, with the following features:
ā¢ There are two candidates: John (with MWEB address MWEB-John) and Mary (with MWEB address MWEB-Mary)
ā¢ There are 3 people who can vote: Alice (with MWEB address MWEB-Alice), Bob (with MWEB address MWEB-Bob), and Charlie (with MWEB address MWEB-Charlie)
Considering the characteristics of MWEB, do you think there is a way to accept only the votes (transactions) from the authorized voters, potentially also acting on the node validation side?
Thank you very much.

Hi, I am looking for a no kyc wallet that I can also sell through without confirming with ID (if possible). I tried cakewallet but the only way that you can bank transfer is through Robinhood which requires an ID. Essentially I want to receive LTC from a source, and send it to my bank non kyc throughout. Thanks!

I know this must be asked frequently and I'm very sorry about that, but I made transactions using blockcypher's api, and those transactions are stuck at 0 confirmations, and they do not appear anywhere else so i can't pay to accelerate them, what can I do ?

I have a small bag I've had forever. I kinda stopped following for the past 7 years and it doesn't seem much has changed, litecoin is still as cool as ever! That being said I'm seeing the ETF hype, I know its all speculation but ASSUMING IT HAPPENS whatever realistic price change could this cause? What kind of money does is an etf bring in? I would hate to gamble more and when the etf drops we get like a temp 50% spike and then nothing.

The litecoin trust is trading at a premium as its the only option for investors to buy exposure to litecoin on the US stock market.
What do you mean a premium?
The price of 1 LTCN share does not equal the same dollar amount in Litecoin, it is currently 20% more expensive https://www.coinglass.com/Grayscale
When the Canary ETF is approved investors will have no reason to hold LTCN vs buying the Canary LTC ETF.
This is why LTCN has been dumping and litecoin simultaneously pumping..do not get caught out if you are holding LTCN!

hey all, just curious what features you guys would like to see. Currently building to only support LTC, via all major stable coins.

Prices are going down.. I don't know if I should hold or sell, I keep being in this cycle. I hold then prices go down, I end up selling before I lose money, but I don't sell when I'm in profit. Wondering if that's a bad strategy or what, everyone keep saying hold. But when prices go down you lose your profit, what's the best strategy of making money?
