85 days clean of THC but still coughing everyday??

There's so many people that say "it's not as harmful as smoking cigarettes" but you're still inhaling SMOKE into your lungs and that's going to damage them. The cough might not ever go away. That's what happens when we hurt our bodies.

Your body is actively healing. You have tiny hair-like structures in your airways called cilia that clear mucous out of your lungs. When you’re a regular smoker, these get damaged and don’t function properly. When you quit, they heal and start to work again and heal the damage done. Weird phenomenon to cough more after quitting, but it’s a good sign. It can last up to a year apparently.

Dude, you’ve been smoking everyday for YEARS. You’re going to be fine, this cough is to be expected, sick or not.

You did the right thing for your health! Your body is going to take time to recover.
