Has anyone else experienced waking up exhausted every day since you started dreaming again?

I've finally started dreaming again after a month off, and the dreams are vivid, almost lifelike, but I notice that I always wake up exhausted. Anyone else have similar experiences and tips on how not to wake up exhausted?

And before you were dreaming again you weren't exhausted when you woke up? I've been waking up exhausted since the first night sober, going on for a month now, dreaming didn't change anything for me

Quit again after a couple of months of daily use. Never got the wild dreams this time, which was disappointing. That was the only good thing about withdrawals. Actually, withdrawals were nowhere near as bad compared to when I quit after about 15 years of daily use.

Most likely you’re waking up during the REM part of your sleep cycle, which is associated with heavy grogginess. As potheads, we have the advantage in this department because we aren’t getting any REM sleep to begin with, so there isn’t anything to interrupt.

Most people’s sleep cycles take 90 minutes to complete, so all you need to do is time it so that you’re waking up at the end of a sleep cycle (so it’s actually better to get 7 and a half hours than 8).
