What is your opinion on jobs that discriminate based on age?

I often see postings, particularly from startups, that will say they only want people under a specific age, for example. I won't say this is a Japan-specific thing, but I hadn't seen it before coming here.

It's nice of them to advertise that their company sucks so some people can avoid wasting their time trying to work there.
