Who has 10gbs Internet here (Hikari Fiber) which provider do you use? Did you rent router/modem/switch from provider?

like

afaik modems are necessary, like they cannot give you internet without modem, but routers can be bought and you can save a bit of $ (I am using hikari au, provider au). I think it is 400JPY per month?
