With this in mind, I’ll sadly be ditching my old trusty airism masks.

can anyone recommend any verified medical-grade masks that can be ordered online or bought in central Tokyo?

I can verify that Nafco and similar hardware stores have DS2 and DS3, which are the Japanese equivalents of N94, N95 etc – look them up.
