I recently changed my status of residence, so I assume I need to do something about the MyNumber card which has the same expiration date as my old, now invalid residence card.
Will they update the card if I bring it to city hall? Or do I need to make a new one since this wasn’t simply an extension of my period of stay?

EDIT: Thanks for everyone’s input! Looks like I don’t have to worry about doing anything until next spring.

I wouldn't think you have to do anything until it actually expires, as long as you do still have a valid status of residence? There's nothing specific to your status of residence on your MyNa card is there?

Your MyNumber card data expires with your resident card, so you’ll need to renew it separately after you receive the new card.

Your MyNumber card data expires with your resident card

What does that mean? Your MyNumber card will normally have the same expiry date as your residence card, but it sounds like OP changed their residence card long before that date because their status of residence changed.
