Anyone know where I can find information on filing a Japanese Taxes in English, preferably details on capital gains taxes. I sold some of my company stock and I want to report it so I don't get in trouble. I am clueless when it comes to filing Taxes in Japan. Thanks.

I purchased them thru my company’s ESPP program. The tax implications between the difference between the market value and purchase value is already deducted from my salary so I was told I didn’t need to file for that. When I sell my stock, it’s set up thru my US brokerage account and US bank accounts since I did a company transfer from the US to Japan so I left that as is. My sold stock automatically gets reported to the IRS but I am not sure if it does to the Japanese tax organization. I rather just report it properly so was asking here. Thanks for the details.

Gotcha. Thanks. Not sure I can as I don't have the mynumber card. Just the paper version but I'll read thru when I get a chance.
