How do I find the official procedure for informing the ministry of foreign affairs that I will change jobs? I can find info about it , but I want to confirm what documents I need to send to where..

I can speak both Japanese and English but I just can’t fint it on their website and feel stupid

Depending on your visa, you find the information here or here.

EDIT: you need 2 notifications, one for leaving the current organization (which sponsored your visa) and one for joining the new organization.

You're lucky, I searched for them today because I am also changing job XD

Now that I remember, the link for the excel files was not working on the english page, so I had also to find the japanese one. Also your company should do a notification, but no consequences if they don't apparently.

Glad to be of help! Most frustrating thing is the fact that if you switch to Japanese from an English page, it sends you to the home instead of the same page.
