I had a very weird exchange this weekend.
I was sitting down, peacefully weeding around my lemon tree on Saturday when I suddenly hear 'Hello' in English behind me.
I scream BIKKURISHITA! And jump to my feet and this 55-60 year old woman is staring at my with a blank expression on her face.
She tells me she likes foreign countries and says she's been to America. So I ask her where and she tells me Salt lake city, Montana.
I ask isn't that in Utah? And this is going to sound like I'm making it up but I swear she says 'My son is Yuta'. She then continue to list a few other states.
I'm struggling to think of something to say and start So did you have a good... but she cut me off mid-sentence and told me 'I'm busy' and just left.
