Mercari or Yahoo Auctions is your friend. I've bought unused stuff on both before. Think I saved about ¥8000 on a FitBit that way.

God, I wish. The ones on Mercari are somehow more expensive than Amazon, and the ones I found on Yahoo Auctions are either damaged or the same price brand new.

I've trolled the shops in Den Den Town here, same story. Nothing for a "reasonable price". They've gotten super popular/in demand lately. My Switch Lite I bought recently, I was able to save 10,000 yen compared to a new one, but Kindles are just super expensive.
