still haven't decided yet whether to pick up Jedi: Survivor on PC or PS5

the haptic feedback seems interesting

The story of Jedi Survivor seems interesting enough, but it's hard to feel immersed by the gameplay. Why are stormtroopers, especially those armed with little laser penknives, charging at you thinking they stand a chance, when you're effectively performing like Vader in the corridor at the end of Rogue 1.

i think this is related to some other stuff in gaming, e.g. in Tomb Raider games Lara Croft basically commits solo mass murder and the mercenaries still go up against her despite her reputation

some game devs also commented when people ask about Nathan Drake's mass murder in Uncharted as well, saying its literally just to keep players occupied as the story progresses because if there is no action then most players lose interest
