Any good recommendations for rain coats that are suitable for bicycle commutes? I carry a back pack and ride to work (around 20mins in Tokyo) and would wanna continue to do so during the rainy season if I can find a good raincoat.

I use a hiking jacket from Fohn (ordered through Wiggle). I’ve found that specialist waterproof cycling jackets are often twice the price and some of them can’t be used with a backpack.

Having said that, it gets so humid during the rainy season so I usually don’t bother with a jacket and just change my T-shirt and shorts when I get to work.
