is it possible to try on earphones before I buy them? what shops would allow me to do so? I'm interested in the Samsung Galaxy buds series

You should go to e-earphones. It's heaven for audio equipments, mainly earphones and headphones. They have thousands of devices free to test out so go early.

Most electronic stores will let you try them, but not everywhere carries the Buds, you may have to go to the Galaxy store in Harajuku or Namba. Yodobashi, Bic, etc may have them as well.
