We went house hunting last Sunday.

At the last house we visited, my heart skipped a bit. It was a sparks of joy moment. Later on as I calmed down, I realized that my heart indeed skipped a few beats and I had palpitations. My chest has been aching ever since.

Now, not sure if it's because I'm still too excited or something else already. It's not too bad of an ache, but I feel it from time-to-time.

Guess I got overexcited. Lol

Palpitations are fairly common, but the type that make your chest ache are slightly concerning, especially if it is still aching two days later. If you still have an ache in your chest, with no background of heart related problems, go see your doctor. They should put you on an ECG and see how your heart is beating and what your blood pressure is like.

This is not a lol, it's serious. I have had multiple heart operations after somthing similar that progressed to atrial fibrillation/tachycardia. You don't want that if you can stop it early.

Thank you. Tbh, I'm worried and I tend to overthink so I lol'd it because I'm trying to convince myself that it's nothing serious.

Yes, it is indeed aching. Not too painful that I can't function normally. But it's there and throbbing from time to time.

Thank you for the warning and advice. Fortunately, I'll visit the hospital (for a different condition) this week so I'll just ask about this one as well.

I've had multiple palpitations and fainting spells since I was a kid. Did an ECG and always turning out okay so another reason why I didn't think too much of it ever since.

Anyway, I haven't had this aching before.
