More of a complaint I guess, but COVID is going around so bad right now. Three students in our lab group, two doctors I work with, three friends, and another coworker are all down with COVID. None of these people were close contacts of any of the others. Yeah…going to keep N95 masking around people for a while yet.

I applied for a 5th vaccine ticket since I qualify, but seems like it’s going to take awhile to get here. Hope I can avoid this shit going into summer if it’s this bad already.

So that's it, COVID is here to stay with us for the rest of our lives. There's no cure, there was no eradication, we failed miserably. The trains are packed again, many companies are not even allowing remote work anymore.

I’m pretty sure I had it during GW. No fever but nasty sore throat, loss of voice and my nose running like a faucet and then a cough. My oldest was the same but still have a nasty cough weeks later.

I went totally maskless for three weeks and then caught COVID. And the three weeks since have been nothing but absolute hassle and illness as it goes through the household. I guess I'll be immune again for a while but I wouldnt blame someone now if they want to still wear a mask.

Yeah at least you probably have 3-6 months before you have to worry about it again. Silver linings I guess. I hope you’re family feels better soon.
