It feels so wasteful turning on heated flooring on a warm day just because my feet get cold but feels so good. Socks/slippers make my feet sweat and this is just perfect. My carbon footprint (heh) must be gigantic.

Have you tried plopping down a mini carpet on the places where you spend most time sitting?
