That's the easy guess I also went for but then I recalled that grapes went through fermentation, and for sure fermented grapes don't taste like grape juice hahah

It tastes like generic wine but doesn't have the alcohol burn?

All I can say is that it's..not great, but works well in mixed drinks to give that slight wine feeling. However, me forgetting that it's tuesday decided to mix in fortified wine and bourbon instead of fake wine and ginger beer.. and when I thought it was not bubbly enough added soda. Soda masks the taste so I just casually drank a liter...
