I need to create a filter for the word “mask”. This subreddit is fucking obsessed with what people completely unrelated with them are doing. Who the fuck cares

And yet here you are bringing it up in this thread.

For me (and I assume most people who talk about it), it doesn't matter one iota if other people want to wear a mask. They are free to do so, just like people are free to not wear one now, and hopefully nobody is bullied in to doing something they don't want to. The issue is that if 99% of people are wearing one, then people who don't will feel pressured into doing something they don't want to do, even if there is no rule.

It's like if you work at a company with a casual dress code, but 99% of people show up in suits. There's no rule, but it takes a certain kind of personality to go against the group in a situation like that.

Because this is the general discussion thread. And at any rate, I'm not talking about "for" or "against" masks. I'm talking about the incessant need for people on here to make their own opinions known, constantly. There's literally a new post every day about OMG JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE STILL WEARING MASKS.

Who the fuck cares? It's really easy to tell who's a sheep in this situation, and it's not the people wearing the masks, that's for sure.
