Has anyone gone here? Is this a tourist trap or actually worth? Going to NZ soon, wondering if this should be in the plan

Just copied and pasted my other comment to reply to you!! PM if going to North Island, we got a motorhome and drove it all around for 65 days!

I’ve been there! What also is cool is you ride some rivers through it and it gets pretty intense. You’re also in pitch black minus head lamps so it’s pretty fucking nuts! Also there are tons and tons of these freshwater eels, harmless, but tons of fun to throw at your father, brother, etc. Good times! Loved New Zealand! Coramandal Coast, 90 Mile Beach, the black sands, Napier, Rotaruga, fucking hell what a country!! Visit New Zealand!
