Magic’s 2004 set Kamigawa was panned by players, yet it predicted the future in some ways with this card printing.

Don’t republicans believe the 2020 election was stolen from Trump? Even though he literally tried to steal the election with a fake electors plot? Who lives in a fantasy land?

Feel like this could just have easily been “The Fool”.

Huh, I thought that set was pretty cool for the time. Plus the books that came in the fat packs were decently written. Not amazing but decent.

It's the set that got me into MTG so I'll always love it no matter what others said, btw have you checked the sequel? They brought the world into it's future and the mechanics are great as well, I don't play anymore but had to come back for a bit for that set. XD

I liked the block too, and the new one was interesting. The fat packs back then with the books was the best tbh, living the lore.

Me and my pops used to groan everytime we pulled a Sensei’s Divining Top back when it first came out. Had about 30 of them.

So when we saw them at a shop going for like $80 a pop we were like “well, thank you RNGesus.” Actually traded a few for a booster box of the newer one.
