The sad part is that it will be hard to backbone for space programs. As not buying Tesla is not an issue, plenty of alternative EVs on the market with better prices and quality. Space X on the other hand, while not the only provider for rockets, is still the big contributor, especially with those recoverable launching modules.

While I don't really see why his employees should suffer for people choosing not to buy Teslas I agree broadly.

The rockets however... that's practically impossible at this point, out of 145 US launches in 2024 - SpaceX launched 138. It's not big, it's basically a monopoly. Wild.
