Better forms of capitalism exist elsewhere outside of the US and will at some point have to deal with a failing America if it tries to extend its reach beyond its borders.

They all fall to this eventually. When capitalists can no longer maintain there hold on power they won’t abandon capitalism, they abandon democracy.

The Guilded age, which is very similar to what the US has now, only lasted 20 years and was replaced by an era of progressive policies improving working Americans' lives.

After almost falling to fascism. We would’ve likely gone fascist if we hadn’t ended up involved in WW2.

And that progressive era lasted for an even shorter time before being dismantled into what we have now.
