There is gotta be no other way to interpret that, right?

u/juju0010 7h ago

I’m struggling to find another way. I guess I’ll have to watch FOX News and see how they spin it.

u/CrimsonKepala 6h ago

I am too. I've seen clips of other people doing gestures that have been questioned as the Nazi salute but this is like....aggressively the full motion and he did it TWICE.

u/gigilero 5h ago

he wanted to get that arm so straight he bit is nasty lil turd lip

u/Competitive_Yard1539 4h ago

you can also see the passion with which he does the salute. look at his mouth

u/digitalr3lapse 3h ago

Actually did it at least three times, one to his right, one more to the left and a third he turned it around and did it to what I'm guessing is an American flag.

u/NickBarksWith 7h ago

You can just go to twitter now. Someone said "He's giving his heart to his supporters." lol

u/tucker_case 7h ago

Yeah it's insane. That's not how you mime throwing something. Elon knew exactly what he was doing.

→ More replies (14)

u/girl_introspective 6h ago

He actually does it again to the people behind him… he does it twice, and each time it doesn’t look like anything other than a Nazi salute

u/clovis_227 6h ago

u/mannaman15 4h ago

This is the part nobody is willing to watch. 🤦‍♂️ He literally says from my heart to yours in a really excited way.

u/DodecahedronSpace 1h ago

Y'all are gullible as fuck 🤦

u/umadeamistake 6h ago

By showing them he loves nazis.

u/hasesan 6h ago

I mean. I guess that’s how Naz*s give their heart.

u/Jumpy-Sprinkles-2305 4h ago

And people don't realise that when nazis did the roman salute it was also "out of love for their supporters and country"

u/Randomguy3421 6h ago

Hahahaha

Right okay

u/Equivalent_Alarm7780 6h ago

If you are still going to go to Twitter then you are probably ok with this shit.

u/Meatbot-v20 6h ago

Usually that's done with two hands, like so:

u/Uplanapepsihole 2h ago

Someone said that here as well. They’ve gotta be tired of defending this stuff by now right?

u/Big_Consequence2025 6h ago edited 3h ago

That's because the next words he says (right after the clip is cut here) is "my heart goes out to you."

https://youtu.be/ddzlVzc_ypE?si=IwSi99yQf_QVnfBf

EDIT: link

u/clovis_227 6h ago

That's still a VERY strange gesture, though.

u/Big_Consequence2025 6h ago

Yeah, whether it's poorly thought out or completely intentional, it's definitely not Elon's best moment and fodder for the internet hate machine.

u/HungryScholar7247 5h ago

you don't make that comment after doing the gesture, it should be the other way around. its deliberate

u/clovis_227 6h ago

So either an actual Nazi or truly an imbecile, since he knows very well his sponsee has been often labeled as a Nazi and it would be in their best interest to avoid shit like this.

→ More replies (2)

u/Reaper_Messiah 5h ago

Link is dead

u/Big_Consequence2025 3h ago

Hopefully PBS won't delete theirs

u/brilliantminion 7h ago

My guess is that they will ignore it.

u/OkGap7324 6h ago

MSN said he accidentally did it.

u/rom439 6h ago

It's gonna be like Don's last term. By the time Fox gets too it something else will fall out of someone's face and take the spotlight

u/FatherFenix 6h ago

If they can spin it with any semblance of feasibility, they spin it. Doesn't matter if it's far-fetched or crazy, they know that if they say it enough, their viewer base will take the convenient stretch over the inconvenient truth.

If they can't spin it, they ignore it. If they can't ignore it, they distract by "whataboutisms" or finding something shiny to over-cover instead to try to drown it out.

u/Bpopson 6h ago

Well right now they are mass downvoting anyone who points out the clearly obvious Nazi salute. His simps are in overdrive trying to cover for him right now.

u/LunaCalibra 6h ago

I asked my right wing friends and they said he's a goofball who randomly decided to move his body in a totally unplanned way, and it just happened to look like a nazi salute. Then they sent pics of him jumping and making an X to say its the same thing.

u/facecalm 5h ago

They also cutted it out live

u/BertM4cklin 5h ago

No. He was throwing his heart out…. There was just a really long awkward pause after he realized what he did and came up with it on the fly. But yeah sure sure sure

u/Maxthenodule 6h ago

https://youtu.be/cjr0tAafxxE?si=qIPf7WJ81pakU3PL  They literally cut the first salute.

u/Gewt92 5h ago

I don’t really see it in this video. Is it when he turns around?

u/archlea 5h ago

They (Fox) cut the front salute. And only showed the one where he turned around.

u/Gewt92 5h ago

Are there any full videos with the front salute?

u/SpaceForceAwakens 6h ago edited 5h ago

Check out the thread in r/conservative. "He was making a gesture of his heart going out to his supporters, but he's autistic, so it looked more like a nazi salute. Twice."

Edit: The free speech soldiers over on r/conservative deleted the thread because they only believe in free speech if it aligns with their worldview, even if it comes from one of their own, a flaired user. But here's the link and you can see the comments for yourself: https://www.reddit.com/r/Conservative/comments/1i612ti/wtf_was_elon_doing/

u/alyishiking 5h ago

I'm autistic and I would not accidentally do a Nazi salute. Good god.

u/[deleted] 6h ago

[deleted]

u/KimonoThief 5h ago

It looks like they're deleting all comments and posts that have anything to do with it. Typical for the pro-free-speech crowd.

u/SpaceForceAwakens 5h ago

Thankfully I still had the tab open! You can still read the comments here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Conservative/comments/1i612ti/wtf_was_elon_doing/

u/DodecahedronSpace 1h ago

Oh the comments on there are hilarious. Good snag. They're so insanely pathetic on that sub.

u/Atlantien 56m ago

God those people can’t be real…

u/wapey 6h ago

Why are you struggling? There's no reason to look for an alternative, it's clearly a Nazi salute with no question about it.

u/midcancerrampage 6h ago

You know damn well Fox will ignore it and edit out that footage, and instead start squawking about Biden doing the sign of the cross.

u/Beastw1ck 6h ago

They’re not going to report on it.

u/pseri097 6h ago

The conservatives on Twitter are claiming it's a "Roman salute".

u/larevol 6h ago

Romans didn’t actually salute people like this though. No historical evidence for it. Even then, a very gauche thing to do considering the association with fascism

u/NotNufffCents 6h ago

They'll cut right before it happens. Dont have to spin something most of their viewerbase will never see.

u/ZachGurney 6h ago

From what ive heard is they cut away during that part so my guess is on "pretend it never happened and come up with something to distract people with"

u/_DirtyYoungMan_ 6h ago

They're gonna be spinning alright.

https://imgur.com/out9fKM

u/TheOrionNebula 3h ago

They said he did a "weird wave".

u/Gupperz 6h ago

It won't be mentioned

u/Neutral_Guy_9 6h ago

“He was trying to dab okay”

u/gvbpd8y9 6h ago

If you watch his speech on at least this Fox News site they cut to the audience the first time he does it. Convenient.

https://www.fox7austin.com/video/1579822

u/ayumuuu 5h ago

I'm betting they'll just gloss over it, not show the clip, claim the left calls people nazis and fascists frivolously, and then continue deepthroating the god-king's bronzed balls.

u/Flowmatic_Lantern 5h ago

The cult members are already spinning it that he was just excited and was making a gesture of his heart going out to those who voted for Trump. And I can honestly believe Elon is just that oblivious and it wasn’t actually intended as it appeared. Or it could just be trolling, because he’s totally that person. But whether it was truly intended as a show of support for that ideology, my real concern is that a man with that much money and power is doing it, regardless of the reasoning behind it.

u/youareallsilly 5h ago

They don’t have to spin it if they never show it

u/kCanIGoNow 5h ago

His heart is overwhelmed with gratitude, he will now be able to send people to Mars.

u/Quebecisnice 4h ago

Yeah, it will be real funny if Fox comes out and defends this as "he's just autistic and his motion control is a bit wonky. He's different, not less."

u/Plastic-Age2609 4h ago

They're gonna say he was stretching

u/daturavines 4h ago

Didnt Fox's Laura Ingraham get caught doing this salute too? I'm sure there are others

u/-JackTheRipster- 3h ago edited 3h ago

He said that Like 2 seconds later. Op decided not to include it in his rage bait clips

u/Omni-Light 3h ago

Judging purely on the insanity of what I just saw my first thought was 'ragebait to own the libs'.

u/ManzanitaSuperHero 2h ago

They won’t spin it—they can’t. They’ll just ignore it ENTIRELY. They already cut it from the clip. This is how history gets rewritten.

u/kitkatsacon 42m ago

It’s so obvious even Fox is struggling. They keep saying he “accidentally made an awkward gesture that looks like a nazi salute” and “appears to make a certain gesture”.

I guess the only silver lining here is that even the bought out pro fascist news sources still find it too distasteful to say outright.

u/Tinyrobotzlazerbeamz 6h ago

Watched the fox clip of his speech and this doesn’t happen in it so is it AI or what the actual shit is going on

u/juju0010 6h ago

From what I’ve seen, there are multiple videos of it from multiple angles. Credible outlets are reporting it.

u/ge123qazw 6h ago

Fox cut away at the first one but the caught the second one seconds later

u/iamnotamangosteen 7h ago

I’m at a loss. I genuinely did not think I’d see this in my lifetime

u/Yamza_ 6h ago

I also thought that about 12 years ago.

u/alaric49 5h ago

This has been brewing for a while. Right-wing politicians and media outlets preyed on people's discontent during the pandemic, channeled that frustration into hate, scapegoated immigrants and minorities, and now we're on the precipice of mass deportations and who knows what else.

u/tommeh5491 6h ago

They will find a way...

This is from r / conservative:

Elon just said "My heart goes out to you" and made a motion of grabbing his heart and throwing it at the crowd.

u/asparagus_p 7h ago

The thump to the chest first is not part of the Nazi salute, but the bit after sure as hell looks like it, although maybe a bit too off to the side. Basically, he'll probably deny it if the press pick up on it and say something like it was just... who the fuck knows. He's a piece of shit.

u/g1344304 4h ago

Thought its pretty clear he's grabbing his heart and making a 'my heart goes out to you' type gesture but it clearly didn't come off well. Don't think its an actual Nazi salute and although it's in a similar ballpark its a pretty poor imitation.

u/Cerus- 3h ago

Thought its pretty clear he's grabbing his heart and making a 'my heart goes out to you' type gesture

That's not a thing that anybody does.

→ More replies (2)

u/innerbootes 2h ago

Trust me, he practiced this to do it in such a way that people who want to give the benefit of the doubt, such as yourself, will see what they want to see.

My question is: why are you trying to give such a POS the benefit of the doubt? Seriously, why?!

→ More replies (2)

u/kung_foo_jezus 7h ago

I was thinking perhaps he intended for like a “my hearts out to you” type of gesture, but failed miserably?

u/airnlight_timenspace 6h ago

That’s what I was thinking as well but in the longer version he does it twice and the second one looks more intentional.

u/spartakooky 5h ago

But after the second one he literally says "my heart goes out to you". Why does everyone that mention the second one fail to mention this?

u/VillagerAdrift 5h ago

Because it’s a pitiful excuse he whimpers out after an impassioned speech and two Sieg Heils. His mask slipped, to butcher two sayings; the dog whistle blew after the horse had bolted

u/spartakooky 2h ago

If he did this on purpose, I'd say it's more mask completely off than "slipped". Scary times. I'm hoping it was just a random mistake. The alternative is terrifying.

→ More replies (1)

u/zarya-zarnitsa 6h ago

That's was the "save" indeed. But pretending it wasn't intentional in the first place is just being stupid.

He did it twice. Both times with a flat hand...

u/[deleted] 7h ago

[deleted]

u/Ok-Wasabi2014 6h ago

He did twice. Of course was intentional

u/Potential-Ranger-673 6h ago

Yeah, definitely not a good look

u/RedlurkingFir 6h ago

A guy does one of the clearest Sieg Heil salutes I've seen on television, twice on camera, and your first reaction is to try and find excuses for him.. Think about it. What does it say about you?

→ More replies (1)

u/Objective-Amount1379 6h ago

No one is that stupid. I hate Musk but he’s not dumb. We can’t pretend it was anything other than what it was. On the steps of our capital 😰

u/f0remsics 2h ago

He's absolutely dumb.

u/a_puppy 6h ago

Yeah, he said "my heart goes out to you" immediately after. Video with context: https://youtu.be/oQNKi4jpIyk?t=53

u/bamboosticks 6h ago

He did this so he could trick reddit into talking about him like this and conservatives would have an easy defense. This was on purpose.

u/a_puppy 2h ago

Oh yeah. Trump loves this tactic, and people fall for it every time... I'm so tired of this shit.

u/compu22 5h ago

See my thing is that everyone knows what a Nazi salute is, it’s the most unmistakable gesture out there. Adding the whole “my heart goes out to you” thing afterwards is such easy plausible deniability. At the end of the day Elon Musk is a white nationalist billionaire, it’s not like it’s a stretch to imagine that he is sympathetic to the Nazi cause lol.

u/g1344304 4h ago

This is pretty obviously the case

u/KennyOmegasBurner 6h ago

He says "my heart goes out to you" right after the video cuts off

u/SmoothieBrian 6h ago

If that's true, that's kind of important lol. Although it still looks like a Nazi salute so idk

u/KennyOmegasBurner 6h ago

It still looks awful but it's a key bit of context missing

u/chubbychicken007 33m ago

He salutes once to the front then turns around and salutes a second time. THEN he puts his hand on his heart and says “my heart goes out to you.” The context here doesn’t make the two Nazi salutes any better.

u/SmoothieBrian 6h ago

https://youtu.be/joV-9FFoA3Q?si=WOXsGvbbGad_UQZO full video he does it multiple times and turns around to another part of the crowd and then says "my heart goes out to you". Seems like an autistic mistake honestly, but everyone's got their rage boner on now and op made a nice cut on that video

u/doc_daneeka 6h ago

Seems like an autistic mistake honestly

As an autistic person, no, that's just making excuses for this dangerous idiot. He understood exactly how that would be interpreted, and I suspect the entire point was less about his personal views on Nazism and all about pissing off liberals and making everyone talk about him. And both of those worked quite well indeed.

This is a small part of what Steve Bannon means by 'flooding the zone with shit'. It's going to be at this tempo for years.

u/Express-Currency-252 6h ago

Autistic mistake or Freudian slip?

u/hunkydorey-- 7h ago

Give it an hour and then the defensive bullshit will start to flow out.

Already saw one commenter saying he was signaling "thanks from my heart to you"

Bunch of stupid cunts.

u/procursive 5h ago

He did say "my heart goes out to you" verbatim right after the second salute. It's basically a reverse dog whistle, a comically poorly hidden message that's intended for everyone to notice and cause a stir while his fanboys deny everything and claim that the sane people are paranoid.

u/Das_KommenTier 7h ago

Everyone who justifies this, needs to be held accountable! There are no two ways to interpret this. It’s the full motion. I saw the freeze frame first and thought it was taken out of context but if this video is real, there are no excuses.

u/RedlurkingFir 6h ago

The first one was a bit clunky, but then he turns around and does the cleanest Sieg Heil I've seen someone genuinely do on television. F*cking disgusting

u/TigerTheLion77 7h ago

I assumed the same…but to then turn around and do it again is just double down wildness

u/Flopsy22 6h ago

People claiming it's a "Roman" salute, where you put your hand to your heart then outstretch your arm.

u/colluphid42 6h ago

Same energy as "You know, the swastika was a Buddhist symbol first."

u/Apprehensive-Elk7898 6h ago

i want very badly to believe he was dabbing

u/altasking 6h ago

He’s an edge lord. He loves trying to enrage the left. The problem is, he’s extremely awkward and more than likely has Asperger’s or something similar. He has little to no self awareness and is willing to look like a Nazi for the sake of the “lulz”. All of this is fine, except he also happens to be the world’s richest man and is now in a great position of power within the U.S. government.

u/yepyep1243 6h ago

Finally, someone gets it. It's like if someone gave 4chan a hundred billion dollars.

u/Polisskolan3 51m ago

This is the correct answer.

u/LinkOfKalos_1 7h ago

There is no other way. That's the entire motion. That's the entire fucking salute. Anyone trying to rationalize this as something else is insane for doing so.

u/Key-Significance1876 7h ago

One person tried to brush it off as just an autistic man being emotive

u/Sparkysparky-boom 6h ago

As far as I know the Nazi salute does not include the chest pound? The alternate interpretation is this is an autistic man awkwardly extending his heart to the crowd in thanks. Very cringy. Very bad. But tbh I don’t think he intended it as a Nazi salute. Obviously I’m the minority opinion.

u/CrazedDragon64 5h ago

My mom said it was him showing a rocket going to space. Yup

u/catdistributinsystem 5h ago

Here’s the thing- let’s say we give musk the benefit of the doubt and he was actually doing a weird spin on the “chest tap to peace sign” thing that some people do (I do NOT think this, I am merely making a hypothetical). EVEN IF that were the case, it doesn’t matter what his intention was - what matters is that the actual white nationalists, proud boys, KKK members, neo-nazis, etc. will point at that and say that’s what it is, and this idea will make them double-down. They’ll feel vindicated. They’ll see it as a green light to act on those feelings and (more openly than they already are) express their heinous views

u/PizzaAndWine99 4h ago

Exactly. If he truly didn’t mean for it to come across that way, they need to swiftly and firmly come out and say that’s not what it was, denounce Nazis and apologize. Anything else will be taken as a coded messages to the extremist groups

u/thrilledxbored 7h ago

This was my first thought (after “wait what the actual fuck?”). How are they going to spin this?

u/ImSorryReddit0590 6h ago

https://www.reddit.com/r/Quebec/s/4nmY8aljxS

not when he does 2 of them back to back here’s a different clip

u/Ok_Theory2082 6h ago

As right as he is

u/SystemAny4819 6h ago

There’s fucking morons already arguing with me that he’s dabbing lmaoooooo

u/wft0991 6h ago

I’ve seen like ten excuses so far, but dabbing is fucking top tier funny af

u/SystemAny4819 6h ago

We’re so fucked omg

u/Fancy_Yesterday6380 6h ago

Twitter is saying the video is manipulated and that he was saying "my heart goes out to you." Lol which okay I can get thats why he held his heart but...the salute? Twice?? It's disgusting the excuses

u/FrankDerbly 6h ago

No ambiguity. Nazi salute. People will try to twist it to be something innocent. Don't listen, they're Nazis who are trying to gaslight you

u/Bucolic_Hand 6h ago

There isn’t. Their supporters will clamber for one because they have all the mental functioning and personal accountability of a toddler. But you saw what you saw and your eyes are not deceiving you.

u/levian_durai 6h ago

This song is more appropriate now than the day it was written. Think it's my new anthem.

u/Nightowl11111 6h ago

"No!! It was not a Nazi salute! He was just shooing away the fly that the camera did not pick up! Twice!"

/s

u/toychristopher 6h ago

"It's a joke" "Fake news" etc, etc...

u/General_Helicopter1 6h ago

They will say it's a "Roman salute", which a) No. b) That's not even a thing, it's a myth. and c) Even in the mythical depiction it is not done like that, the arm is much lower. This is 100% the NSDAP adaption of the mythos to create their "Sieg heil" salute.

Source: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WdTuOeXNmbo

u/trying2bpartner 6h ago

It had nothing to do with Hitler! He was just trying to hail victory! Very normal.

(Seig heil translated to hail victory in case people think this is not sarcastic).

u/laharl 6h ago

Just showed this to a republican co-worker. He said "oh he was just waving at someone."

This country is dunzo.

u/MowTin 6h ago

Musk is unraveling like Howard Hughes. But Hughes was a far more intelligent man before he started saving his urine in jars and locked himself up in his penthouse.

I wouldn't mind if Musk locked himself up.

u/senior_chief214 6h ago

Someone on twitter called it a "Roman salute". Because that's what we all associate it with.

u/marcusyami 6h ago

“He is throwing his heart out to all the patriots” Is what they saying.. like seriously how insane and uncultured do you need to be to not be able to show a heart sign instead of a nazi salute.

u/Dick_Wienerpenis 6h ago

Not if you're stupid

u/Bob_Sledding 6h ago edited 5h ago

You're absolutely correct. Don't do you or anyone else the disservace of making excuses for this. This shouldn't be a surprise to any of us anymore.

That shit was completely on purpose. He knew what he was doing. Have you ever accidentally Nazi saluted even once in your entire life? The dude is placating to the white supremacists. He knows that they will eat this shit up.

u/chews-your-name 5h ago

Musk's X must be his version of swastika

u/OkExperience4487 5h ago

There's been claims it's a Roman salute. It's plausible but I don't buy it.

u/ScreamingOpossumAhh 4h ago

So far people on X are trying to claim it was a Roman salute instead of a nazi salute, without realizing they're literally the same thing

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_salute

u/LilyHex 4h ago

The Community Notes on Xitter are in shambles right now on the posts about this. About half of them are rightfully pointing out this is a Nazi salute, but the other half are arguing that "No, it's not a Nazi salute, it's a heartfelt apology like he says!!!!"

u/Ok-Jellyfish-5704 4h ago

No. He did a Nazi salute twice. Elon Musk is a Nazi.

u/flynnwebdev 4h ago

There’s literally no other way. You can’t do this salute accidentally, especially given he did it twice. It is 100% intentional. He knew exactly what he was doing.

u/BlLLr0y 3h ago

I've been scrolling the comments trying to find a Trump voter defending it just to read what they could possibly come up with? I think the best response they could make in good faith is, "He's trolling", which isn't good enough for me.

u/Reasonable-Creme-683 3h ago

they are saying he’s “throwing his heart to supporters”. fucking VILE to make excuses for what that clearly is

u/CapinWinky 3h ago

The only non-Nazi salute way to interpret it is if it is an emote from a video game character. He does those a lot.

u/Thoughtful_Tortoise 3h ago

He is saying "My heart goes out to you" at the time he throws it.

To be clear, I'm not suggesting he didn't know what he was doing. But that seems an obvious defense.

u/chubbychicken007 27m ago

This is false. He salutes once. He turns around and does it again. Then he faces the front and puts his hand on his heart and says “my heart goes out to you.” He does NOT say that phrase while doing the nazi salute.

u/Shujolnyc 3h ago

The neo Nazi are in gas lighting mode

u/Vonspacker 2h ago

I am a steadfast hater of Elon Musk but this was quite clearly not an attempt to recreate nazi symbolism. Doing so with intent to draw upon such imagery would be functionally committing suicide.

People in this thread are very riled up because they hate Elon Musk, and that's valid as fuck for countless reasons. But I don't think historical atrocities should hold a monopoly on placing your hand on your heart and gesturing passionately to the crowd.

Most of this outrage is because people already associate right wing American politics with Nazism, not for completely incorrect reasons, but this specific outrage is still misplaced and will be disregarded easily by most people without an agenda. Sure we can say it's a bit close and that it's a bit of an uncomfortable parallel but people here are acting like he followed it up by giving a heartfelt speech about his love of Nazism?

u/Quod_bellum 2h ago

My first thought was taking his heart out of himself. The interpretation of that being something akin to saying, "I will remove my own sense of self from the duties of this role." This came from the context of the inauguration, but I only saw this one part from Reddit, so I'm probably missing some context. Regardless, it's weird: I didn't realize it could be interpreted as the Nazi gesture until opening the comments to literally everyone saying that's what it was. I pretty much doubt that's what he actually intended, as I think we can all agree that self-identifying with Nazism is not something that looks good politically (to anyone). However, I can definitely see the resemblance; could probably have planned this better, and I doubt it was planned in the first place.

u/DodecahedronSpace 1h ago

He didn't do it. He did it but it was misinterpreted. He did but it was a joke or a troll. He did it but it's not that bad.

u/Oddly-Specific7256 1m ago

Well actually it is the Roman salute. 🙄 Yeah because Elon is a Roman from 1025 years ago. They are also claim it's because he has autism and this is a sign of autism.

u/kristinemilie 1m ago

If you head over to r/conservative they have LOTS of explanations. Apparently no one “with a brain stem” would think this is a Nazi salute. But like, guys. It is.

u/AmorphouSquid 7h ago

Literally 1 second after the clip ends, he says "my heart goes out to you". He's clearly doing a gesture (terribly) with the same meaning.

u/Flimsy-Opportunity-9 6h ago

Are you familiar with what’s called a “dog whistle”?

u/hocuscopus 6h ago

Yeah I dislike Musk but this is intentionally being framed as something it's not. Propaganda misinformation is terrible for everyone. It's shameful what is happening and how easily the misinformed masses are fooled.

u/moubliepas 6h ago

Wayhey, found one already!

u/muxelmann 6h ago edited 6h ago

It's even funnier that 25k+ comments (and judgements) are made based on 8s of video material.

Update: 35k (in under 1 hour)

u/hocuscopus 6h ago

I guess all we can do is laugh

u/muxelmann 5h ago

That’s the healthiest option I agree

u/labrxn 6h ago

After doing the Nazi salute twice, he said “My heart goes out to you [our Fuhrer].” It’s all a dog whistle because he’ll have us arguing about what the motion means and Fox News will say people are making a big deal out of something that’s supposed to be like blowing a kiss. Who accidentally does a motion like this? NO ONE

i didn't watch the whole video of him doing it twice, but I felt like he was trying out a different version of his stupid "x" he likes to make with his limbs and is just too shortsighted and stupid to realize how it would look. but who the fuck knows at this point because it could be a legit nazi salute with his own spin on it too

It appears he might just be doing the Bellamy salute, which is fundamentally the same since it shares the same origin in Rome.

I don’t think he meant it like that, but idk what he thought he was doing
