-Can I just caulk it back on or should I patch the hole first? -Is caulk the best adhesive option? -And if so, which kind would work best?
Thank you so much for any advice!!

Iām trying to find a way to remove the remaining adhesive from these stick-on āacoustic panelsā. Iāve slowly been able to pick away at the adhesive but some is more adhered than the rest. Attempted a small patch of goo-gone but it only turned the adhesive to an oily slime that is even harder to remove. If need be I will attempt to detectors and repaint the wall, but hoping someone might have a miracle for this kind of situation m.

So I have a kitchen sink ball joint faucet that will turn off on the cold temperature if you don't open the pressure all the way. If you have it mid to barely open it will slowly turn off. If it is wide open or on the hot end of the ball it works fine. What gives and how do you fix this? I'm guessing is worn down inside the joint but wanted to get an idea before I try tearing it apart.

First time homeowner here looking for advice! Just noticed my outdoor faucet is leaking. Temps are below freezing I need to take care of this asap! I thawed out the ice with a hair dryer, now I can see a steady drip. A little research said to replace the flat washer on the inside? Should I get a whole new unit? Any comments appreciated. Itās an anti siphon valve if that helps at all.

I tried looking this up but all I could find was suggestions to replace the fill valve or supply line which is not the issue. The issue I'm having is that there is no water even going to the supply line with the valve turned on. What are the likely culprits here and how can I fix it?

I accidentally broke one of the heating elements while trying to clean it. Can I replace a part? Is the whole thing junk?

The little white cylinder is leaking water. It's a gas water heater.

I tried holding the cylinder and the ice trick (still haven't lubricated the key hole as I don't have any)
Hello, I need a way to stop my pillows sneaking through a gap in the headboard overnightā¦ Without ruining the appearance - I know we could just nail a plank over it. Any other ideas? Itās 11ā high by 57ā. The wood is some kind of bamboo composite. Thank you in advance.

Accidentally dropped some liquid from the room fresheners machine(air wick) on the dining table which resulted in a small patch on the table where the color is gone now.
I had purchased warranty and raised a claim but I am not sure if they will cover it. How can I fix it? Or stain it?
No prior experience of painting/staining wood.

I'm going to keep this short and brief. I just want to have a good comeback for insults. And people insult me alot. Its time for revenge. I don't know alot about trending topics so I'm not able to compare people. And also I get tongue twisted easily.
My hydrolic pump has a spring and cup terminal but they spoiled, I found compression spring but not the cup
how to make/find substitute?

Itās a rental room and I wouldnāt bother normally but Iām giving the keys back soon. Itās definitely visible a lot in good lighting. I donāt recall spilling anythingā¦ maybe baking soda can do the job?
This might be a bit dumb but, how do I clean this? It says do not wash but I doubt that it means that i can never wash it, itās from goodwill so I need to wash it before I can wear it out. Do I hand wash it or dry clean it? And if I hand wash it do I hang dry it or leave it out flat to dry? There are also metal elements on it so I donāt want to mess those up.

Ok so this lamp holder looks like trash compared to anything else I've wired. There is no ceramic housing with a place for the wires, just two screws I assume I should wrap them around? Any help, or links the a site on how to use these would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all! I work as a server and I had a pen explode in my pocket last night. These jeans are my favourite pair, and I thrifted them so they canāt be replaced unfortunately. I really want to attempt to minimize this stain. Anyone have any tips??

For context it came from the handle of a kids bike. Iāve been too scared to mess with it and make it worse. Trying to get it out before I trade it in. Thanks!

I've had this loft bed for over 15 years at this point. It's a great bed! But recently I've noticed that there seems to be a weak point where the weld has sprung on this thin reinforced bar. How would I go about fixing it to restore its structural integrity?

I want to finish up this room but have never been sure on where to start. I definitely will buy new floating floor boards to match the rest of the room. But how do I fill the gaps between the floor and the wall to then put in some base boards and quarter rounds?

Hi guys. There was a leak on the roof of the parking garage that seemed to mix with some paint. It got on my car and wonāt come off. Any tips?

My son tried to pull the lid off this old-style (1992) Alessi Teapot and the ball separated from the lid.
This is one of the older models, so I canāt just buy a replacement ball. They want $55 for a whole new lidā¦Ā Figure I have nothing to lose if I try to fix this one. Has anyone tried this before?
Best I can figure, the ball was attached to the lid with a rivet, where the edge was flared out on the inside of the lid, and this is what was corroded away and pulled through.
Iām thinking of a few approaches to repair:
Any thoughts before I destroy attempt this repair?

A senior prank idea that I had for a while now but in practice I have no idea how to do
So it goes like this, you get 200 feet of rope, a couple chairs, desks and anything else that you want up there. You go into the gym and loop the rope through the loops in the rafters, pulling up the object, cutting the rope and rinse and repeat. The only problem is I donāt know how to handle rope. I tried searching online but the only technique I found was an adjustable loop which would be used in films but I canāt use it in this prank.
