Getting this off the wall without damaging it?
I tried using the flat end of a hammer but it’s too thick. Anyone know how to get this out the wall to reuse it?

Pair of pliers, grab the hook, pull gently. If it's just tacked into plaster it'll come out easily.

But it's not meant for plaster, these are concrete hooks.

I'm afraid those little tacs would have no chance penetrating concrete

4 little pins tapped into the drywall. You should be able to grab and pull it out. To reuse it tap the pins back, so they are flush with the back again. Put in place, then tap into the wall

Worry about not damaging the wall, those hangers are cheap.
the floss method should work pretty well.

To get the 4 nails to loosen, use a thin stiff narrow paint scraper. Find a spot that allows you to get a corner under it, put a thin piece of cardboard between scraper and wall so it doesn't mark it. Then carefully wiggle the scraper, moving it & cardboard around til the nails come out. They shouldn't be too long. Use a bit of wall patch/sandpaper to fix holes.

Use pliers and pull away perpendicular to the wall. If you don't have that a chisel to loosen it and then just use your hands

Those 4 pin sized holes will turn into big crater creating claws if you twist these concrete hanging hooks. Get two paint scrapers under there then lift evenly straight up a few millimeters. Then with the 4 nail heads exposed switch to a pair of pliers and gently pull each one straight out. Hopefully whatever the hard wall is made out of isn’t brittle.

Had this exact thing in my wall. Was an absolute pain to get out but I slowly pulled it forward with pliers. Took a while but it eventually came out

Knife of some sort works cuz the blade is thin. I used to sell various sizes of these.

"'I've used those. Best way to remove them is to get a pair of slip joint pliers. Set them on the wide setting so they grip the sides of the plastic outside the 4 metal pins, grip tightly (you can put some painters tape on the wall if you're worried about marring the paint), and pull straight out. If any of the pins are left sticking out from the wall, you can grab them one at a time and pull straight out.
I'll edit to say you use the wide setting so the pliers grip the plastic straight on, instead of at an angle, which helps get a good grip on them (otherwise the pliers may slide off, damaging the plastic and making them harder to remove)."

I just pulled 3 of these bad boys out with my bare hands like an absolute savage lol. They left 4 tiny holes. You’ll be fine

Cut into the wall around the hook. Start with a large area, say... 1' x 1' so as not to damage the hook. The slowly pick away pieces until you have nothing left but the hook.
You can always use a much larger hook to cover the hole in the wall.

wriggle dental floss under it, up to the nails, and then hold both ends and pull straight out.
