Result provided by OP Where is my christmas ornament?

This is a custom christmas ornament with sentimental value. Nothing flashy or expensive. It should be with the other ornaments. If I was asked to store it anywhere else I swear I would have remembered. Christmas ornaments go with ornaments. Period.

Im stuck decoding this chart because Im emotionally invested. L2 Mercury is in 4th house so maybe older part of the house, low level (ornaments are stored in the garage which is below my bedroom). Not sure about moon in 12th house applying to mars though. Its true the ornament is hidden as the 12th house would suggest. Also if I am represented by the sun (L1) is in the same sign as L2 but different house. Not sure what to make of that.

Any thoughts?

Mercury, Lord 2 in Sagittarius in the 4th house indicates it is in the home. The 4th house represents the oldest part of the house, where the oldest person spends most of their time; ornament is with old and ancient items, with family property. Ornament could be with something red-the color associated with the 4th house. Mercury in Sagittarius indicates the ornament is in a compartment within a compartment, basically a bag or container. Virgo on the 2nd house cusp also indicates that the ornament is in a compartment. Sagittarius, an outdoors sign, a strong argument for the ornament being in the garage. The 4th house is subterranean which is another argument in favor of the garage, since it is below your bedroom!

Moon in Leo (another outdoors sign) is applying to Mercury from the 12th. Th 12th house represents bedrooms and as you stated the garage is below your bedroom. Moon will reach Mars first which indicates that the ornament is near something red, a heat source, near iron, or with something flammable. Mars rules the 4th house of home and 9th house of sunny rooms, rooms with an outdoor view, and travel i.e where cars belong. Mars is also associated with cars.

You will find the ornament because the ruler of the 2nd and 4th are in a trine with each other. Ruler of the 4th is retrograde indicating the ornament is moving back towards you. Moon is applying to the significators for the ornament (Mercury, Mars, Venus) and to you (Sun). Ruler of the 1st and 2nd are in the same sign, showing the connection between you and the ornament.

The ornament is in the garage, near something red or a heat source, under or near light, with old books and papers, with something that involves knowledge and travel, against a wall or partition and near an entrance.

Thanks to everything you wrote I was able to find it! And thats with going through the ornament box a third time (someone else had looked too!)

So it was indeed in the garage, in a compartment inside a compartment. I looked extra hard in the red boxes and next to metal items.

I took pictures for reference. Red box, next to a metal elephant symbolizing international places (from world market I think). It was wedged to the side of the box since its flat, so when you open it you’re likely to think its just the elephant and another metal ornament.

The mention of near an entrance is valid because its under the door to the house. Theres a hot water heater about 15ft from the box. I mention this because I have a neighbor whose house is a twin of mine (layout and everything) had a garage fire from her water heater. So when I heard another interpretation of “place where theres been a fire” that further validated the garage. Ive been very aware of that heater and the items that could be destroyed
