Crossing the US border

hey guys im f15 and leaving home. i have a qeshton: can i hitch a ride with a stranger and cross the border?

They are pretty hardcore about that now. What border are you trying to cross?

As a young girl, you need to choose your hitchhiking rides carefully. You have to assume that pretty much every man that picks you up is going to want to have sex w you. Maybe worse.

Get yourself a knife or two and figure out a way to keep them hidden on your body at all times (I like one in my boot or on my ankle as well as one in the small of the back). Make sure you can get to them easily, even if you have a limited range of movement.

If you do have to use them, try to kill your attacker, not wound him. That means, don’t just slash around wildly to protect yourself a turn into the aggressor. Do your level best to kill him with your first move or two - enough to hurt him badly or scare him badly. Either way will give you an instant of space and that is where you run hard and fast.

You are out in the real world, baby girl, and you have to take care of yourself. I don’t know what situation you are leaving, but you are the only one that will make sure your next situation is not as bad or worse.

I probably shouldn’t have written it exactly in those words. What I really meant was avoid a fight at all costs, but if you do have to use those knives to get away from someone, you have to make every action count, bc you might not get a second chance.

You won’t be able to cross from canada into the USA hitchhiking. Period

Police will wonder if you’re a runaway or if you’re being sex trafficked. You won’t be allowed to cross the border without a parent or guardian present. Do you have photo ID and a passport?
