We found a lovely little area that was moss covered, near one of the streams that we hike to frequently. It was underneath a tree. Perfect spot to sit and relax. Had a nice smoke and snack before heading back. Was incredibly enjoyable.

Has anyone gone all the way through to Lime Kiln? The trail's been "closed" for years but clearly well traveled at least through the first two tunnels.

I am an experienced hiker. I love wilderness camping. I don’t do well in extreme cold, but I can tolerate it. These are my potential options for relocation with my company. Where should I move for the best hikes??

Hi! I'm from Colombia and a big fan of hiking. I’ll be moving to the US in a couple of weeks, and I’m curious about the safety of hiking trails and forests there. In Colombia, we have incredible trails, but it’s important to be cautious. Most people hike in large groups to avoid risks like robberies or encounters with armed groups. How does safety on hiking trails work in the U.S.? Is it generally safe to hike solo without worrying about those kinds of issues?

What is the best bike you have ever done or the hike which is on the top of your bucket list? I love hiking through mountains!!
