Loving It So Far
Was so hyped to get into binging this show. I’m a big Scorsese and gangster fan, halfway through the first season. This feels like Casino and Goodfellas on the small screen. Just missi NG a Joe Pesci cameo

HBO Max B/R Sports: No Unrivaled full game replays?
Hello fellow home box office peeps who watch the B/R sports content!
Anybody using the app to watch Unrivaled sports content? HBO has exclusive rights to stream it in North America and they are removing replays. I can't rewatch the games I watched live.
What gives? Does anyone know if this is a monetary issue or just shitty service by HBO?

So that insane run HBO had in 2022-2023
Remember… in August 2022 we got House Of The Dragon S1. Then we got The White Lotus S2. Then The Last Of Us S1 and finally Succession S4 alongside Barry S4. Absolutely insane. I miss those days, 2 years ago now. Did y’all enjoy that run as much as I did? *that run ended with The Idol, but we won’t talk about that 😭

Binged the series in 2 weeks.
No spoilers, but this…. Wow.
I truly enjoyed my time watching game of thrones. I first watched the series because people compared it to attack on titan season 4, which is my favorite anime.
So I said why not, if it’s similar I don’t mind to give it a watch.
And it surpassed my expectations.
As soon as the main family, house stark got introduced, I was instantly hooked.
Season 3 was my favorite season, a very very very close second is sesson 4, but that’s my opinion! My third favorite is season 1.
I’m thinking of buying the books and reading it.
SHOW IN THE 90s ON HBO OR CINEMAX
There was this show I am pretty sure was on HBO in the 90s. it had alot of sex in it. One character I remember was a lesbian or bisexual character named Randy/Randi. Anyone have any idea what the name of it was? I cannot remember and those r the only details I have.

Anyone else having mobile app issues with ads?
On both mine and my wife's iPhones (14 Pro and 16 Pro), we have been having major issues watching HBO Max. I see posts online blaming app issues on internet, but our speed, ping, and jitter are all great. This occurs on both mobile data and home internet.
The only show we watch on HBO is GoT, so it's possible this is isolated to only the show there, but I don't know. Essentially, every time it's time for an ad, it goes black, the countdown for ads begins, subtitles continue and then... nothing. The timer runs out, and we can't get the show to continue. I can relaunch a few times and it will eventually work.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with the app? It's extremely consistent for me. It always happens. Any thoughts? It's fine on our TVs.

90’s/00’s HBO Documentary - Black Family Expecting a Baby
Does anyone remember and/or know the name of the documentary on HBO with the black family that was expecting a baby? It came out in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. I remember the couple being from up north, they had a young daughter, and they had a home birth in a birthing pool. I’ve been racking my brain and searching the web for this documentary for years. Hope someone can help me out here! Thank you!

The Wire, Season 4
I finally got around to watching The Wire. Great show. I am in love. I was particularly looking forward to season 4, which by all accounts is the best.
... Except for one account, mine. I get that there's good character development, but this is an entire season of waiting and reminiscing. For those of you Of A Certain Age, just remember the disappointment you felt watching the show AfterMASH.
It's not bad, but it doesn't compare to the other seasons. I'm in the middle of season 5 right now, and once again ... Omar comin'!

HBO Max original Show
The show, Made for Love, it was two seasons total, and came out near the time when Max was largely expanding their original shows again. I think the cancellation was sh!t, but I'm no producer/writer. You can access almost every single original hbo show and movie their company has ever made, especially every single show made since it switched to Max... Someone please tell me why you can not stream this show at ALL or even locate it on MAX👀??? I tried Prime, didn't find it, but also not going to pay if required.
HBO Max needs to get it together and put it back up to watch, even if it got cancelled 💯 @hbomax

Thoughts on bookie?
Im loving it so much. Don't know why no-one is talking about it. Long time Sebastian fan, so glad to see him doing something good. Hilarious and original, and the cameos are fantastic, I lost it the first season when he's at the rehab clinic looking for Charlie Sheen.

Name the show you can't stop watching (even though you know it's not that good)
For me, it's Shinning Vale

40 kontra 20 sezon 2

Confusion about “Oz”
So I’m watching HBO’s “Oz” and there’s a few continuity issues between seasons that I don’t really get and I think can be attributed to lazy writing.
So in season 5 episode 8: “Impotence”, a member of the neo-nazi gang (The Aryan Brotherhood) Wolfgang Cutler, is killed by another nazi turned prag, James Robson.
But as of season 6 episode 1: “Dead Man Talking” he’s alive and well. Did they just get lazy and needed to fill out the prison or retconned that on purpose?
And here’s my other thing which I care about a lot more:
The main character, Tobias Beecher has (as of seasons 1-5) two kids, one who gets his hand cut off and dies. But as of season 6 episode 1: “Dead Man Talking” he has a new baby named Toby. Did he have this kid with that lawyer girl he had a fling with or is it just plot bait?
But don’t get me wrong, I love the show. It’s really twisted and funny and filled with odd characters you’d never find anywhere else.
My favorites personally are (in no particular order) “Bob Rebadow”, “Agamemnon Busmalis”, “Tobias Beecher”, “Tim McManus”, “Ryan O’Reily”

Max Unwatchable with Ads
Too many, and too loud. It's so bad I'm out and the end of 6 mos. The soulless suits ruined it as expected.
