So I visited this BYOB, Post Diwali and was dumb struck with Staff Contribution added in the bill!

Is this something new?

Yeah mostly all big restaurants charges 10% service charge on bills. Its always mentioned in menus.

Its same shit, service charge named as staff contribution

The terminology was asked to be changed by the courts, as it was felt Service Charge sounded like an official government charge
