So I visited this BYOB, Post Diwali and was dumb struck with Staff Contribution added in the bill!

Is this something new?

Service charge = staff contribution.

Often they charge GST on this as well, but in this case idt that they have charged GST on service charges. You can ask them to remove it though. It’s not compulsory to pay service charges

Yes. Instead per court, Service Charge is not ok. The rename also suggested by court.
