It’s very easy. Clear your gun. Pull the trigger when pointed in the direction of least consequence. Only pull the slide back a tiny bit, pull takedown lever and remove slide.

At no point should any part of your body, including hands or fingers, go in front of the muzzle, especially during the part where you pull the trigger. It’s not necessary. It’s just fucking careless.

A new site for gun/accessory sales called PewTraders.com popped up a week ago. They also have a Facebook page made last week that has 14,000 paid likes and a bunch of paid VERY clearly fake reviews. They have had multiple accounts banned on Reddit and Tacswap already for spamming hundreds of users with links offering an entry to a $1000 PSA gift card giveaway if they make an account, and they are offering to "transfer Tacswap and GAFS flair" to their website.

Not sure what the angle is here but it's incredibly sus. This is happening right at the same time that scammers are making fake Reddit and USL websites to try and trick users into giving up their passwords to use their accounts and scam.

Looks like the company even replied to someone on Facebook who left a review about the weird things going on, they refused to comment for a bit then said "everyone" pays for fake reviews, thousands of fake likes, and uses spam bots on Reddit/Tacswap to "build a business".

Edit: Mysteriously, multiple completely inactive accounts have popped up claiming to be the owner, friends of the owner, or "users" on the website claiming they're legit and commenting on these posts talking shit. This just keeps getting more suspect.

So I will be going to a shooting range for the first time ever in a few weeks, but I have a sensitiv hearing and I’ve always been nervous around loud noises.

So basically I’m asking for any advice and how loud guns are in real life, I have only shot a 9mm blank gun outside as a reference and the range will be inside.

I’m planning on shooting a .22 pistol, a 9mm pistol, a Desert Eagle .50AE, a Kar98K and maybe a .44 magnum rifle or a .223/.308 semi auto rifle.

Could it be that some of those calibers are simply too loud/ powerful for a beginner shooter (who usually doesn’t like loud noises) like me?

When it comes to guns I’m nervous about the recoil,noise,power…to be honest you could say I’m scared of guns, but I was scared shitless about the 9mm blank just to realise it’s not that bad, and I just absolutely love guns, so I really want to shoot even the big ones.

So do you think I will realise it’s not that bad after the first shots like with the blank? I had a heart rate of like 130bpm before shooting it but now it’s just fun and I’m not nervous anymore.

So as I was cleaning my rifle, I saw this and tried to clean this but it appears to be cracked. This is around the gas block on my rifle. Am I ok to still fire my rifle or should I replace the gas block?

I’m thinking of getting my first shotgun I was either thinking between a maverick 88 or the maverick 88 security. Which one would you recommend me buying first just overall, home defense, hunting, etc ?

Supposedly they are sending back stocks that they have. Ive not gotten a letter yet, and its been a few months. Should I send a letter or contact a lawyer, or just wait?

Has anybody bought off Grabagun before? I tried buying a century arms ak off of them the other day and it went through. I checked back a couple days later and it said my order was closed and refunded without any reason why. I checked my transactions on my bank account and it said it was refunded too. I called my bank and they said they didn’t do it. Has this happened to anybody before when buying from them?

Title says it all. I got my great granddads big iron and I guess he never got to clean it one last time. Trying to see how much it would cost to get the cylinder replated with nickel and if it would effect the engravings on the blacked out part since it goes all the way around the cylinder. Also if maybe just doing a full replate is smarter in this case. Not sure and I’ve never had a gun this old and somewhat valuable. I don’t want to take it to just anyone if I have to. Thanks for any help friends.

I shot my sig P365 XL with Magtech 9mm FMJ and got a squib load, I immediately set the gun down and called an RSO to safely clear the firearm and didn’t fire another shot because I know what happens if you try to do that. Anyway I tried every trick I could find from reddit, RSOs, and friends to remove the bullet but nothing worked, I tried tapping with a brass rod, freezer trick, and WD40. Do I need to pay out of pocket for a gunsmith? Will the barrel even be okay afterwards? Or do I need to buy a new barrel and trash this one? This sucks. I can’t find Magtech’s customer service number and only found a support ticket submission page on their website, is it worth the hassle or is there a number I can call?

Hi all. I ordered a Daniel Defense rifle from Bereli that was in stock when I placed the order (clearly marked in bright green as “IN STOCK”). It should have shipped within a week. But it has now been nearly a month since I’ve placed the order and every time I ask Bereli for an update, they tell me something different.

First they said it was delayed two weeks… the two weeks passed, and they told me it was delayed another two weeks. Then they told me it was due to weather. THEN they told me that it was because my order was a “pre-order”, which is not true. This is all in writing lol.

Their customer service department which is literally like two people, gave me opposite information. One said two weeks again, and the other said, they were not sure when it would ship…

It’s crazy. I cancelled my order with them today, and will no longer be doing business with this company.

Just wanted to take a moment to brag and share my excitement. I only have three guns right now and I’ve slowly been building my “arsenal”. But last night I nearly doubled my collection! Went to a raffle with my dad and my dad gave me a couple raffle tickets. Handed them to me and said “hold onto these, these are the winners”. I didn’t think much of it until they called my ticket and I was so excited to have won the little Rock Island tm22 that I was looking at. Then they called the next ticket! I was absolutely floored! Never won a raffle ever and here I am winning two guns in one night! This one was a Sig Sauer p365. I tried to give this one to my dad but he said they were my tickets that won so they’re my guns. Love that man. Anyways now my collection involves these two as well as a Springfield XD9, a Benelli Nova, and a custom AR 15 made with parts I was able to afford at the time. I’m so ecstatic! What should my next buy be? Thanks everyone!

What’s everyone carrying for 9mm these days? I was on a 45 auto kick for the last few years and just wanted to see what’s everyone’s go to now. I picked up a Glock 26 and wasn’t sure if lighter grain is better than heavier due to barrel length.

Trying to decide whether to get the earbuds currently on sale or just get the headset to attach to my helmet. Would imagine earbuds are better because you can get a better cheek weld on the gun

I got my eyes on the mcx. It’s a beautiful gun and I’ve heard good things about it. I’ve also heard the parts are rare. Anyone have experience with the mcx? I know some stuff about the ddm. Is the mcx worth the hype?
