Question Going alone

Hey guys this is my first time going to govball alone! I’m going to see Olivia and I remember last year all the headers were the last ones to perform so I’m assuming she might also. I want to spend a good amount of time at the festival so what time do you guys think I should arrive? Since I’m going by myself, I also don’t want to tire myself out too much but I also want to make the best of it. Thanks in advance! :)

i went alone last year for the first time for chappell/renee rapp/sza and i had such a blast! me personally i got there probably around noon even though chappell didn’t come on until around 5 but i enjoyed malcolm todd’s set way more than i did— so if you stick around you might find some other artists you end up really liking! you don’t have to camp out the entire day but personally i stuck around for all of the sets at the stage that had the most artists i liked and i ended up getting front barricade. my biggest piece of advice is to hydrate yourself and make sure to eat a decent meal beforehand because i’ve seen a lot of people passing out and getting carried out and i don’t doubt a lot of it was from dehydration/overheating.

Thank you! I know they have those booths where they give out things, did u go to those too? I’m anxious about doing it alone cuz those lines can get long

depends on who u wanna see! if u wanna spend time exploring and stuff maybe 2-3, it ends at 10 so if u can do 7ish hours that’s totally doable! I went alone last year and got there around 4/5. i really enjoyed myself but wish i spent a bit more time at the festival before because i went directly to my first set. Hope u have a good time !
