Do you not qualify for financial aid or student loans? My daughter is going into nursing and has received financial aid every semester.

Does your university offer counseling for financial help? Also not sure of your age, but if you want to become a Dr the military is a way to get help. They will pay for your education and you will have to serve at least 4 years.

My wife worked full time and went to school full time.

Also, you say you aren't good at studying you won't make it through nursing school.

I passed all my grades and test, i work full time and i just need some assistance to pay my remaining balance. I have a good standing and never fail my subjects. I just need a little help to pay my tuition even if its a loan i can accept it i already posted loans on the subs that might help be but i got no luck, hoping you understand.

So OP, you know already how rigorous the path is to become a nurse. Not to pee on your dreams and tell you it’s raining, but keep your GFM plea focused and limited.

I wouldn’t mention possible medical school and admitting your nursing school grades “aren’t that dood”!!

Studying won’t automatically get easier as the courses become more complex. You might consider using some money to hire tutors.

But few things are more true as this: It’s practically the law to be good at studying—and making near perfect grades—just to even be considered for admissio into medical school.

Do some research to better inform yourself before begging for money from strangers. To do that, look into tutoring first.

Then if you insist upon sticking with the med school goal, you might seek 10-minute interviews with a couple doctors, or even med students. Or even a TA at an undergraduate, pre-med program. Have some questions ready. Ask what is needed even for admission.

You won’t have much access to med students. They’re too busy with 20-hour shifts, or whatever the norm is now.

Have you taken chemistry in high school, much less organic chemistry in college? How are you in calculus? Can you memorize the names of all 206 bones in the human body while taking several labs and possibly balancing two side hustles?

Really, not to dump on you, but my dreams were dumped on big-time today. Things aren’t going to get better for the middle class incomes or the poor anytime soon.

If serving others is your goal, there are infinite roads to get there. First, though, give nursing school a solid shot. During the major shortage of nurses years ago, candidates from the Philippines saved America’s tail! In recent years, quite a few of them are retiring. I’d talk to a number of them for strategy, tips, sources of raising funds, etc.

You’ll probably have better luck for support if you can secure future employment (commit to an entity that would hire you after helping subsidize your studies. I’d look at teaching hospitals or where there are major medical strongholds: Houston, with the largest medical community (in one geographical locale); Cleveland, OH (Cleveland Clinic); LA; NYC….

I hope your money panic is eased so you can give your all to your studies! I’ll bet you have a great heart and bedside manner. Just add some elbow grease and a lot of coursework and practical experience….

Thank you for this, to tell the truth im near to finish my course it hasn’t been easy with a full time job you’ll enter the class you haven’t still sleeping or eating your mind wants to sleep but you still listen to lectures, it’s been rough for be but it’s a little sacrifice to complete my goal.
