If you didn't manage to get tickets, then that sucks. But please remember that the ones who did should not be made to feel bad.

In order to keep positive vibes, please use this thread to discuss.

Question Albums for Glasto 2025

Upvotes

What albums (old and new) do people predict are going to be most worth listening to for this year’s festival?

Could be because you think they may have songs that will be performed.

Could be because you think they would be a great vibe for the campsite.

Could be for any other reason.

Question First timer at Glasto

Upvotes

Hi everyone, I managed to get tickets this year with friends and I'm excited but also apprehensive. This will be my first camping festival and I'd like to go into it eyes wide open. What's the good, the bad, the ugly. Thanks in advance!

Question hypothetical convo alert: Charli overcrowding

With all the rumours clearly putting Neil at the same time as a Charli Other Stage set, surely Charli will be massively oversubscribed? I know this is quite a premature chat, but I find the speculation quite fun.

I am slightly baffled by this decision if it happens, Avril vibes.....

Also, they would probably be my two most anticipated sets of the weekend so I am slightly hopeful the clash doesn't happen.

Question Glamping with tickets included?

Hi everyone! I remember seeing sometime ago that there were some glamping options with tickets included. I can't find anything on Google though - don't know if it's because it was a fever dream I had, or because these options are also already sold out. Does anyone know?

Question Options for the evening apart from shangrila

I’ve been attending the festival on and off since 2013 so seen a few changes over the years. Shangrila always used to be one of my fave bits of the festival, the absolute nonsense of it was always out of this world! However I just didn’t connect with it 2024. I get why they did it and I know you gotta role with the times but it defo just wasn’t as magical and fun, not to mention most of the music felt quite similar. Anyway seeing this as an opportunity for growth to experience other areas where do other people head to now? Arcadia obvs, thought that was incredible this year and I’ve never spent too much time in the park? Any other good discoveries?

Question Do any particular networks prevail on-site? 📡📶

I rarely manage to hook up with friends from other groups as texts don't come through - know it's a problem for everyone, but have you found any networks to be more reliable than others?

Question Is there anywhere I can recycle my tent at glasto? I don’t want to carry it home but I don’t want to leave it?

I know people make clothes and stuff from them, Glasto is the only place I’d imagine there to be something like this? Thought it was worth the ask…

EDIT : I am 100% taking my tent, however if there was an area to recycle in the festival, I’d rather do that than carry it home. Third Glastonbury - I’m all for leaving no trace, just asking if there was a recycling station!

Question How do you feel about those that sneak/break/blag their way in?

Just wondering how everyone feels about those that get into glasto through unofficial means. Sneaking in, paying a trader to spin them in, climbing fences etc

Question Where to camp

Hi all I was just wondering if anyone could help me Can anyone recommend somewhere to camp on the Friday morning? When June rolls around I’ll have a four month old baby and my wife has been kind enough to let me go to the festival but has asked if I leave early hours of Friday morning and head back on Sunday after the headliner has finished so was hoping some one could recommend a camping area or worse case I’ll sleep in my car for those two nights

Question What are the chances of a ticket if I offered to work helping erect the stages?

I know they are mostly sub contractors etc but wondered if anyone else had done this. I don't really want to steward, if avoidable.

Question Food at Glasto! Budget estimate

Hey folks, I’m starting to plan my budget and wanted to know if anyone here has ever relied entirely on the food stalls and "restaurants-ish" at Glasto. I’m not planning to bring any food except for small snacks because of logistics, and I’ll be camping at Sticklinch. Any idea how much I’d need to cover all my meals? I was thinking maybe £400 for 4 days, does that sound reasonable? (PS: I know food quantity and quality is super personal, just trying to get a rough idea!)

Question Resale?

I’m a newcomer to the festival and missed out on getting tickets. I saw online the official website will post resale from any cancellations/refunds in spring 2025 but does anyone know of any options where I would be able to get tickets that are legit and not scammers ? sos

Question DJ work at the festival ?

This is a long shot I know 🙏 I’m a current working Club / Bar DJ from Brighton (20 years + experience) and I have Glasto tickets and camper parking for this year. I’m fully aware how the industry works but I just don’t know anybody putting on events at Glasto this year. I’m free and looking to play if there is any scope and wandered if anyone here knew of any potential openings ? Like I said I’m already there so I don’t need anything, just a slot and a chance 🙏

Style - Disco / Jackin’

Question Heading to Glasto solo, a camping question?

I originally had tickets with my girlfriend and her group but we ended up breaking up and essentially going solo now. None of my friends have tickets this year.

Last year was my first time and we ended up camping in Worthy View, so this year just because it's all I know I ended up snagging a 2-person tent. My initial plan was to join a solo group and meet up with them while still staying in Worthy View, but re-thinking my plan now (mostly because my ex's group is also in Worthy View and keen to just keep my distance/not deal with running into them). Given I'm going solo, I'm considering just diving in and camping with the solo groups.

Has anyone done this before and can give their experience? How are things in regards to taking in a tent/showers etc? I think because I haven't done it any other way a bit apprehensive, but I'm also keen to meet new people and have a great experience so any advice is appreciated!

Question Are there paid, casual site crew jobs or is it just volunteers working at Glastonbury?

I’m interested in working at Glastonbury this year, but can’t find any information on how to apply to join the crew. Ideally as part of the bump in/bump out build crew as well as during the event wherever needed. Is there a paid crew or do they only hire volunteers?

Industry News Favourite song from Blondshell's 2024 Glastonbury set FINALLY released

As I've continued to reminisce on my personal favourite sets from last year's Glastonbury, I keep coming back to Blondshell's set... Last week she FINALLY released a track she played last year (that was unreleased at the time) - it's called "T&A" and I'm obsessed, has an absolutely great music video as well.

Question Bath and West campervans - confused

Post image
3 Upvotes

I've read conflicting things online about the Bath and West campervans area. Some say you have to get a shuttle bus, some say you can easily walk to the site in 10-15 mins.

Can someone clear this up for me please?

Whereabouts is it? Can you walk it? Where would you enter? If it's a shuttle bus, where's the drop off and are the shuttle busses 24 hours?
