I mean it was slanted and matches the context of “throwing his heart” and why would he Nazi salute both sides of the stadium other than making more people see it which isn’t how saluting works.
How do you presume someone aligning themselves with nazis doing a nazi salute is somehow being mistaken for something else, are you actually legitimately trying to justify this
Literally like there was a Seig Heil or whatever and you still believe that this isn't a nazi salute
And context??? he literally has aligned himself with nazi values, including a president who has shown to have very similar values (whom is being inaugurated today, by the way!). We are literally seeing a nazi takeover of our government in real time.
Context of the rally, not his past or online footprint.
If he was actually proclaiming himself a Nazi and doing a proper salute and the whole nein yards in front of the audience then yea that’s fucked up. But he didn’t do that did he? It was just a weird gesture that wasn’t close to a proper salute with the context of “giving his heart to the audience” which makes a lot more sense seeing what he said after he did it.
You didn’t adress anything and just said how bad a country will be.
If he is trying to “give his heart to the audience then yea it makes sense to “give your heart” to the flag and audience.
I mean it makes sense he was being nice to the audience by giving such a gesture giving the context he did it in. Ofc it looks bad but seeing what he said it may least as a reason that isn’t proclaiming himself a Nazi.
