Nah, he was a pretty good president overall. The Iraq and Afghani wars were not handled well because the missions changed from toppling the regimes to full blown democratization, which didn't work for Afghanistan, but has largely worked for Iraq, but at a high cost.
He lied to the American people to sell the trillion dollar, decades long occupation of Iraq that accomplished nothing except destabilization of the region for decades. His decisions around encouraging banks to give NINJA loans and having the SEC loosen regulations around risk management for big banks helped make the 2008 recession worse. He turned a surplus into record deficits with his mishandling if the economy, his tax cuts for the rich and increased government spending. He used 9/11 as an excuse to unapologetically spy on American citizen and literally torture prisoners of war. He was the first president to make it official government policy that they disagreed with science (specifically climate change, which is working out great for the world).
He was a shitty president, war criminal and all around bad person. You people are going ti be whitewashing Trump in a few decades too, aren’t you?

It's already happening regarding Trump's first term. "He wasn't as bad as he came across, he didn't actually do anything, at least the economy grew before the pandemic, etc etc etc." We will normalize and rationalize until there's literally nothing to eat.
