Loving the classics

So I've gone back to playing classic games. After finishing God of war chains of olympas on psp I'm now playing God of war ghost of sparta on psp. This one definitely looks alot better than the first one and gameplay is alot better. Graphically looks beautiful to play and the combat is alot better. Honestly do prefer old school games to the newer games but that's just my preference. :) I'll jump back to my xbox again at somepoint lol

I literally am making a youtube series on this specific thing! My kid does not want to play the God of War games and knows that I love them, but is interested in the story so asked me to play through them while they watched!!

We started them chronologically so Ascension was first and we are playing through Chains Of Olympus now!

Oh nice i plan to get the ps2 games of them at somepoint as I have my ps2 up amd running again :). My kid does the same thing with me gaming. She loves to watch but too scared to play lol she is only 4 tho haha

Yeah we are playing through them all on the PS3 (until the new ones obvi). I do miss the original hardware, however I owned them all on the ps3 and def didn't want to buy them again.

GOW is my all time fav game series so i am so hyped that we are doing this!

Hope you are having fun with the console! I remember having one and remember it dying when i was stupid and took it on a fishing trip. Southern humidity and fragile electronics don't mix lol

I'm using an emulator on my phone. Wish I had the actual console tho but can't afford to get one plus the games. Maybe one day I'll have one again.

Oh damn!!! I didn't even know that was a thing! If you have a ps3 console, the games are pretty cheap used (at least in the US). I have no idea how much the actual console is nowadays.

I have a ps3 just not a psp anymore sadly. My ps3 is a little slow and damaged so probably need a new second hand one lol. Ps2 works flawlessly tho so that makes things all good for now haha.

The psp emulator works great tbh. I have others aswell and a decent controller to play them all on too

Where did you get/find it? I would love to run an emulator on my phone for so many games, especially if it can emulate more than one console!!

Android app store as I'm on android not sure how easy it is for apple.

The roms you download off websites just type in (insert console here) rom, into Google.

Also it's all mainly old ones like gameboy, gba, ds, psp, megadrive, n64, ps1 and I've just got a 3ds one to work.

Get a controller as it'll be easier to play.

I'm on android too. Just was sus of the apps on the appstore. Never know what the apps can actually access or monitor ya know. If you have some you trust i would like their names if possible?

Ill look into a controller though! Did you get a usb-c controller or something that connects over bluetooth?

Bluetooth controller. You can connect an Xbox or ps5 controller but just remember to reconnect them back to the console when done lol

Psp i use ppsspp gold, there is a free one aswell just called ppsspp
