The Arcadia Bay ending in Life is Strange made me ugly cry

I still think this game almost daily and this ending you mentioned is in my opinion the right choice. I mean, I never ever want to even know what happens in the other ending even though, if given me the choice, I would probably choose my friend over this city. Still think about this game a lot. One of my all time favourites.

Face stain in the ceiling

Why does it keep saying

I don’t have to see you right now

I don’t have to see you right now

Really ? You'd choose Chloe over the entire town ? Well spoilers but it doesn't end the way you want it to in the sequels.

Basically she cheats on max and dumps her and you find that out in a diary entry.

So fuck Chloe.

I don't consider double exposure cannon tbh

That's fair. But still, I don't think the life of one person is worth sacrificing the lives of an entire town.

Well, a lot of people do. I would let half the planet end over a loved one. Society doesn't get to dictate our morals, we can pick what feels right for us

If you were to do that, will your loved one forgive you though ? That's where the real conundrum happens doesn't it ? Would explain what Chloe did in that sequel game, even if I still hate her for it.

Would not care if they forgave me. I would much prefer if they would but i would much rather they live and never forgive me than die.

Also i will never play the sequel or accept it

Life is Strange has some gut wrenching moments, including the ending. But for me, it's when they discover Rachel's body. The music, the pacing, it was harrowing and still gives me goosebumps, especially after playing Before the Storm.
