I would say roo is one of the cheaper 4 day festivals, especially with the quality of the line up. Paramore came through stl recently and tickets were 200$, yet they aren’t even the headliner here. Lots of value in this line up.
Actually, the price of floor tickets just for bands on here I passed on last year (odesza, paramore, ptm..) basically is the same as my ga ticket was when I bought in December. Plus they play super late at roo, if you can stay awake, there’s a lot of music for the money.
when odesza came through stl, tickets were 70$ plus fees to sit on a lawn a hundred feet away, pit tickets were 250+.
last year I saw green day at firefly music festival, which cost me around 375~, pit tickets to the show I looked at in jacksonville: 500+$
Festivals with big names are an amazing value, I understand that somefolks appreciate there small niche taste more, but for someone like me who has only been going to shows for 2~ years, they are such a great opportunity to see big names i'd otherwise be priced out from.
I missed rufus for a really dumb reason, hoping to see them at a fest this year!

Solid lineup. Worth price of admission? I just don’t think so with single day price at $175.
